did you know that, under the Arts and Entertainment section, in the Books category of your Info page on Facebook, that if you had listed "The Book of Mormon" it automatically linked this to the page for "The Book of Mormon musical" rather than the scripture Book of Mormon? I don't know why Facebook would automatically default to that rather than the scriptures, especially since the musical makes fun of our religion.
I was annoyed, so I submitted a complaint, as follows:
"I have a complaint regarding Facebook automatically linking the book
"The Book of Mormon" in the Arts and Entertainment section of a person's
Info with the satirical Book of Mormon musical that mocks The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the mormons).
The vast majority of individuals who have "The Book of Mormon" listed as
an interest under books are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints and definitely do not support this bigoted musical. I
have spoken to many mormon friends who had this automatically linked
without telling them and they are very angry about it.
Facebook should not have automatically linked this sacred religious text with the musical that denigrates it. Please change this."
