Happy Valentine's

Valentine's Day has always come as a disappointment to me,

but it's my fault because I've always expected too much.

This year, for the first time, I decided I didn't care.

(luckily gifts is not my love language)

As Taylor's best friend advised us on our wedding video,

"Just be in love"

Simple as that.

-I still made cookies and wore pink- no reason not be festive-

But this video made me realize that it doesn't take flowers, cards and a perfectly planned date to really share love with those around you.

As a result, it was a perfect day.
