Cabin in Vermont with Adam & Tory

Jodi and I had two great friends invite us to their cabin in Vermont near the tiny town of Grafton. It was an amazing weekend! The little town has a famous "Old Tavern Inn" inside an old barn and only has some 600 people living there. Grafton is known for it's homemade cheeses and has an actual blacksmith still working too!
The woods were beautiful!
Here's the foundation stones of an old farmhouse on the property
The meadow in front of the house was gorgeous and they own a huge property so there isn't a soul anywhere nearby. The solitude was such a welcome change compared to the busy city in Boston.
The yard on the side complete with a homemade swing built into a tall tree.
"When within the shady woodland..." The changing leaves were so beautiful.
We of course made an awesome bonfire and had killer tinfoil dinners and cobbler.
cherry chocolate/peach vanilla
The inn at the town had the complete Dickens collection .
Some of the most fun we had was the four-wheeling in the nearby hills and forests.

We ended up going off the trail and over this big hill through the brush.
We can't wait to go back soon!

  2. ONLY 600 people living inside an old barn? Sounds like it would be cramped to me. Miss you guys.
