Random Musings

2 months
I've kind of lost my blogging energy.

Is anybody even reading this? Hello? Anybody out there?

Yes, I know there are loyal readers...just some days I feel like that. And I don't want this to be a mommy blog, but I'm sorry, that's all I've been doing lately. Unless I dig into the depths of my brain and soul and tell you everything else I've been thinking about. Ah, but I won't.

I love being a mom though. Even when it means looking frazzled every morning. Or missing the UPS man.

Because the baby was naked in the bath, or I was naked in the shower, or whatever.

Speaking of which, I just had to go get him from his crib because he was screeching because lately he refuses to finish his nap unless he's being snuggled which is so nice, but so inconvenient. And I'm freaking out because I know that UPS man is going to show up any minute and press the buzzer and wake the baby back up, but I can't miss him again or Taylor will shoot me daggers from his eyes.

So I'm trapped here until he comes.

Did I mention I'm typing all of this with one hand?

Well, I guess that's really all I have to say.

Signing off.

  1. see, when i type w one hand because of the baby i don't bother capitalizing so you are ahead of me!

good luck w the ups man. they just leave the stuff on our door and friends like michelle just announce themselves by yelling into the mail slot so i don't have to get up to let them in while i'm feeding.

the door always knocks when i'm feeding.

  2. Ah yes. I remember the world you are in right now. Except I never had to wait for the UPS guy. But I did type with one hand. :) I hope once you meet up with the UPS guy you can go for a walk. :) AND write the other stuff in your brain- I'd like to hear it. :)

  3. Love the picture of little Sparkie

  4. I love reading what you post because you are so freakin' far away! Sounds like fun :) Can't wait to see you guys...

  5. Oh just wait till you have 2. One of us is always crying, naked, eating or otherwise indisposed. Blogging not so much of a priority these days.
