Republica Argentina

Taylor has been aching for years to return to the land he came to love as a missionary. With a month between graduation and work, and flight benefits through his mom, this was the right time to seize the moment. He adjusted the dates so I could join him, and planned out the whole trip. I'm always the planner, so it was awesome to just have to tag along! At times I wasn't sure how excited I was, knowing that it wouldn't be a sight-seeing trip but rather a visit-with-people-I-don't-know (in Spanish) trip, and leave my baby for almost 2 weeks.

There were moments that felt like pure torture. The country itself was nothing very exciting or impressive to me. BUT, the people... I loved. I always love the people when I travel. These people were amazing to me. I was never a missionary, and although I've done much international traveling, even lived for 3 months in China, this was the first time I was able to really get to know other members of our church in a foreign place (in China we were only allowed to interact with other expat members). That was very cool, and a big part of my experience. And how can I tell you about the trip without telling you about them and their stories? So, we'll have to gradually do just that so we don't have one mega post. Also, because we didn't do a ton of sight-seeing, and we didn't exactly spend time in sight-seeing places the whole time, most of my pictures are of the people.
